During our visit to the Philippines, Marcus and I had some time to shop at National Bookstore—my paradise. I bought like five books of Jessica Zafra and some fashion magazines and Marcus also tried to get something for himself but nothing got his interest except for a couple of Design magazines. He bought those and he bought some more for me—two Writer magazines and a copy of the “For Writers Only” by Sophy Burnham. I didn’t ask him to buy these but he said he thought these reading materials should help me hone my writing skills (if there’s any). Haha. I would not trade my husband to anybody, not even to Darren Rowse or Matt Damon.

Anyway, I’ve been reading the magazines but the editions I got focus so much about fiction writing and I don’t see myself going that way. I still got some good general writing tips from the magazine though and I’ll probably share these to you one of these days.
